One BIG papaya....

I am so not big on trying new things. But my mom LOVES trying new fruits, new veggies and different kinds of foods.

When she came over last year my husbands coworker gave us some really big papayas. And mom enjoyed them very much.

Yesterday my husband brought this home from work. The same coworker gave it to us.

One BIG papaya!!! LOL:)

It is HUGE! I wish mom was here so she can eat it. Because I know that she will enjoy it. I know that she will sit at the dinner table and eat every little bit of it. So I guess I'm going to have to do it for her... LOL :) Maybe I'll make some milk shakes with it or something like that. What do you all think?

Mom you want to come over and eat this thing with me? I think there's enough for everyone... LOL :)

Woohoo... the part for my car is in the house....!!!!!

Oh, I'm so excited!
I can't wait for my husband to come home and fix my drivers window power switch thing. Cuz I am so ready to have that window to be able to go up and down.. Not just down but up as well! I'm tired of putting up plastic bags when it's raining.

So last week when we went to look at the same part we found out when we got there that it wasn't the right part. :( Bummer.

Came home and Monday dh found the part on ebay... Woohoo!!!! It came today!!!! Awesome shipping and way cheaper then the part we were looking at on the island the one that was the wrong kind.

Woohooo..... My car is going to be fixed!!!! :)

She's a BIG GIRL now!!!!

Sara is 16 month old and has been asking to go on the big potty for some time now. She sees her sister go in the bathroom and she wanted to know what that is all about. So we had her sit on there couple of times. She was happy and excited to do something that her big sister do as well, but scared at the same time... She held on to me every time she wanted to sit there LOL :) That silly girl!

Then we ran out of diapers, don't know how that happened. But I figured that I'll just go ahead and start potty training her. All of my other girls have started potty training around this age as well, so why not start. So we did. A friend of mine gave me their potty chair that they don't use anymore and I thought why not use it. We didn't use a chair with our older girls. But since Sara is scared to sit on the big potty by her self, this will be better for her. And it works. She went potty by her self. She was so happy. She even wipes her self... LOL :)

Of course I took pictures... LOL :) But I don't think I'm comfortable enough to post them here.
Non the less, she is so excited to do this and I'm so glad that she likes it because it's easier to teach them this way.

She's a BIG GIRL now.... snif, snif.....

Sunday morning....

This morning Chris and I got up early enough to be ready for us all to drive one car to Church as it was raining and my drivers window doesn't go up and is taped with plastic bag right now.

This is what I heard over the baby monitor when I came in to the bedroom after my shower.

I heard Leda singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little start" to baby Sara. It was so cute I had to get my camera and just record her singing.

The video is dark as it was still dark in the house and gray outside from the rain. But it's the singing that is so cute... :) It's also very short... But I just think that it was so cute!!!

Leda is such a good big sister. She was calling for dh and I because Sara's foot got stuck in the railing of the crib. :) Don't worry all was taken care of.

I was told to just blog....

So here I am trying to think what to blog about. I've been following a lot of scrapbooking blogs and blogs about daily doings of friends and their families. And been wanting to do the same. To have a blog for me to post my crafts in and tell about our family daily doings as well... LOL :)

So here I am blogging my first entry. I sure am glad that this place has a spell check because I sure need it. And you all will see why very soon. LOL :) If only it also told me if I put the sentences together the right way or not... ha ha now that would be awesome.

Anyways, today our family did little bit of driving around. Dh found a part that we need in order to fix my '96 Honda Passport, so we had to go and pick it up. It took us about 40 minutes to get there. Only to find out that the part is from '94 Honda Passport and I guess the parts are not the same. So we didn't get it and are back on the search for the right part. We just really don't want to pay $300 for it from the dealer.

On our way home we stopped at the library and kids picked out 14 books and 2 movies (movies are $1 to rent for a week) to take home. The girls LOVE the library. They got that from their dad. He was in heaven when we walked it. All those books. His face just lite up!!! LOL :) He did find a book that he really likes and already on chapter two. I have no clue how that man reads so fast. It'll take me about a year to read just one page... LOL But I love him and I love the fact that our girls love books as well. It's good for them.

Then we came home had a very late or early dinner watched a movie Peter Pan...
Had a P B and J sandwich, and now the kids are all in bed and it's only 8:30pm here in Hawaii. So all in all we had a good day.

Alright... so here's my first post... Thanks for reading... see ya next time! :) Nadya
