Birthdays, birthdays, birthdays!!!!!

We have so many birthdays going on around here it's so much FUN!!!! I got to do some invitations and goodie bags for two of my dear friend's daughters. It was so much FUN working in these projects. Now that we had the parties I'm able to show you some of the things that I did.

Both of the girls and my friend LOVED everything. I'm so glad that the girls liked their goodie bags.

I'm going to start off with the invitations. The party theme for this party was "Wheels" anything that is on wheels. The kids got to bring their scooters, bikes, skates, roller blades and anything else that had wheels on it and they spent about an hour playing and ridding things. It was a lot of FUN.

I used some CM paper from NSD last year or the year before, don't remember. White card stock and purple CM cardsotck. CTMH markers and stickles.

I got my first set of Gina K. stamps and I just LOVE them. They stamps so nicely and the image is so clean. I used "Are we there yet?" stamp set from Gina K. designs on this card.

As a birthday card I used SU "Birthday wishes" stamp, CM printed paper same as in the invitations. Some jewels and "Rollerskate Milly" stamp from Pink Gem Designs. I colored "Milly" with some colored pencils.

The second birthday theme was "Mermaid" :) So I just had to use the "Life is a beach" cricut cartridge. I also used the Accent Essentials to cut the flower for my shaker box. I cut the flower solid then used one of CM CCS's circles to cut out the middle.
SU- Your Invited stamp
Chunky glider.
Plastic for the shaker box from a gift box. Yahoo, I reused things... :)
Aqua chalk.
Aqua CTMH ink pad.
Some left over paper from another project that I did.

As a birthday card I used the same paper and another Gina K. designs stamp set "100% Sweet."
Some CTMH markers and stickles for the frosting.

Now on to the goodie bags. These were so much FUN to make. I had a little hard time getting my idea of what I wanted to do with the roller skate one. But I had my girls help out. :) 3 minds work better then one... right? :)

I used "Paper Doll Dress Up" for the mermaid.
I used the hair and the crown from the "pixy" girl.
Heidi Swapp paper form LSS.
Some regular card stock.
Ribbon.
Lots of sticles.
Plantin SchoolBook cartridge for the bag it's self.

I just love the way these goodie bags turned out.

Plantin SchoolBook cartridge for the bag.
Heidi Swapp papers from LSS. (I think it's Heidie Swapp).
Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge for the shoe part of the roller skate. The shoe is from the Franking Stine image. I picked this one because it had slits at the bottom and it was perfect for the roller skates.
Buttons
Scrappers Floss
Ribbon
Paper Dolls Dress up "Pixy" cut flowers accessories 3. I cut them apart to layer them.
Foam tape... lots of it...
Sticles
CTMH "Simple Stitches" stamp set.
Punched out some circles for the wheels.

I had a lot of fun working on these projects!!! Stay tuned for more soon... :)

Thanks for visiting my blog today!!! :) I hope that you liked my projects!

God Bless!
Nadya

  1. Love the shaker box invitations. So stinkin' talented you are! I might have to "try" and replicate that next year for Amelia's 3rd Birthday.
